Barca get the green light to sign Vitor Roque

Barcelona have reportedly received information that they could sign Vitor Roque due to Gavi injury.

However it has been confirmed that the club is waiting and confirmed. Now Barca will decide whether to buy a midfielder or a striker.

Another report adds that La Liga is now considering whether Barcelona could use 80% of Gavi salary to temporarily sign Vitor Roque in January.

Gavi injury last weekend became a major issue for Barca as the midfielder broke his ACL and will not be playing again this season.

Barca signed Roque from Athletico Paranaense during the summer in a deal worth 61 million including extra labor.

Barcelona did not bring Roque to the club this summer due to Financial Fair Play issues and instead allowed him to stay at Athletico until 2024.

The plan is to bring the 18 year old to the club in January but FFP regulations are still a problem especially with a 40 million payment from Libero yet to arrive.
