Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has hinted that Karim Benzema should be the club favorite player to sign in January.
Benzema is playing in the Saudi Pro League for the Al-Ittihad this year but the 36 year old may want to return to Europe.
Wenger believes that if the Frenchman is interested in returning to Europe Arsenal should push to sign him.
He admitted that he wanted to sign Benzema when he was also Arsenal manager stating that he had been competing with Higuain for some time. It was Higuain for three games and three for Benzema.
He played based on passing and connecting so he was a good player.
He is a striker who makes the people around him better and sometimes you have a striker who scores goals but they make the players around them worse. But he was not one of them. If you put Benzema in the team I would love to play with him too.
