Barcelona to announce signing of young midfielder

According to sources Barcelona are set to sign Lucas Bergvall.

The 17-year-old midfielder will join Barca from Swedish side Djurgarden for € 7million plus € 3million. Like Vitor Roque the teenager has turned down offers from other big clubs to play for the Blaugrana.

On Tuesday Bergvall was in Barcelona with his family as they had lunch with Deco. Private discussions went well.

Bergvall is expected to join the club in July. Until then, he will remain part of the Djurgarden.

The youngster has been described as a mix of Pedri and Gavi. He is a midfielder with impressive physical ability along with quality play.
