Barca assume Jules Kounde could decide to leave this summer

Mundo Deportivo Ferran Martinez reports that Barcelona will not rule out the possibility that Jules Kounde will leave the club this summer.

The Frenchman may want to play at center-back next season. He is now used at right-back again as his form in midfield has plummeted following a recent injury. Inigo Martinez. Pau Cubarsi and Andreas Christensen are France top players.

The club believe there will be a lot of interest in the 25-year-old this summer mostly from the Premier League. Kounde current contract with the Blaugrana expires in 2027 so Barca could get a big price tag for him.

Barcelona bought Jules Kounde from Sevilla for 50 million in the summer of 2022. He made 69 appearances for the first team since then scoring 12 goals.
